Cardiac Physiotherapy
Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy is an area of physiotherapy that specialises in the prevention, rehabilitation, and compensation of clients with diseases and injuries in the heart and lungs. These conditions may manifest themselves as shortness of breath, persistent cough, increased work of breathing or the reduced ability to exercise.
Common cardiorespiratory conditions include:

Your physiotherapist will run a thorough test of your cardiorespiratory system, endurance and mobility. The therapist will then develop a treatment program to fit your needs.

- Coughing and Breathing Strategies: To manage your shortness of breath and help you cough properly

- Percussions and Vibrations: Helps you cough with ease and have relaxed discharges
- Mobility Assistance : To transfer one securely in and out of bed, sit up, stand and walk
